They have been responsive to my support emails, but thus far have not been able to solve this known issue. I am an Apple Certified Technical Coordinator and have researched this issue and worked with Dashland support to solve this known issue to no avail. The issue is with the Dashlane Safari extension. To clarify, there is no issue with the Dashlane macOS app. We have installed the Dashlane macOS app with Dashlane's uninstaller, used AppCleaner to delete any related files remaining and reinstalled, testing the App Store version and the version from Dashlane's website.Īdditionally, installing the Safari extension testing with both install options: "Install from developer" and "Install from Gallery". When I activate the extension, the beachball freeze occurs with extremely slow intermittent responsiveness, just enough to deactivate the plugin. If nothing else works, please report your issue using the Send Feedback link from Authenticator app settings. We have installed and fully tested the Dashlane Safari Extension. You can recreate the CSV by pasting your content in the CSV template file. To verify the integrity of CSV data, ensure that the first row contains a header with three columns: URL, username, and password, and ensure that each row contains a value in the URL and password columns. If we don’t currently support importing the format of your password manager, you could try creating your CSV file manually using the steps in Export by creating a CSV, above. Hopefully whatever caused the bad formatting was a temporary issue. One of the following steps could help you troubleshoot the issue. The most common cause of failed imports is incorrect formatting in the CSV file. Important: After successfully importing your passwords delete the CSV file from your desktop or mobile phone.
